It’s your time to Xplore Melbourne
Let your smart device unlock art, music, venues and retail in Melbourne, like never before!
Thanks to the City of Melbourne and the State Government of Victoria, Xplore Melbourne is a free Augmented Reality outdoor art exhibition for everyone to enjoy. Musicians, street artists, etc will have their art come to life. All discovery points are in close proximity to one another... walking distance or just a short tram ride!
Treasure Hunt: Xplore Melbourne has 9 'Discovery points' which you need to find. The starting location is the Nicholas Building on Swanston Street. Download the Eye Jack app onto your smart phone. Open your camera and scan the QR code. You will then find a clue to the next location. Find all 9 and complete the survey on this website to go into the draw for some great prizes each month.
Movable Art: There will be a piece of movable art featured each month. Scan the QR code and the art will appear. Use your fingers to move it around to a creative location! Share the image or video on social media and #xploremelb #cityofmelb to win a $250 shopping, dining and stay voucher each month.
Xplore Melbourne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders both past and present.
